IQAC Composition
INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)
The College IQAC was established in 2008 as per UGC XI Plan for Establishment and Monitoring of the Internal Quality Assurance Cells (IQACs) in Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs). The IQAC is meant for planning, guiding and monitoring Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities of the institution.
Responsibilities
● Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution
● Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process
● Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes
● Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education
● Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles
● Documentation of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement
● Acting as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices
● Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining/enhancing the institutional quality
● Development of Quality Culture in the institution
● Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC, to be submitted to NAAC

NAAC Cycle 2
The IQAC formed the steering committee for the re-accreditation of the institute which had been previously graded B+ + (2007).
NAAC Peer Team visited the College on 10th and 11th November 2017. The Team consisted of Professor Dr. Jayarama Reddy, former Vice Chancellor, Sri Venkateshwara University as Chairperson, Professor
Dr. Hem Chandra Gautam, Department of Commerce Guwahati University, and Professor Suresh M Cholke, former Principal Sri Sangameswara Arts and Science College Karnataka as member co-ordinators.
The College was re-accredited with A grade and an Institutional CGPA of 3.02; Curricular aspects-2.80; Teaching Learning and Evaluation- 3.11; Research Consultancy and Extension- 3.07; Infrastructure and Learning Resources- 2.80; Student Support and Progression- 3.50; Governance, Leadership, and Management- 3.00; Innovations and Best Practices- 2.60.
