Peer teaching initiatives at the UG and the PG level facilitates the process of learning in a more informal atmosphere. The younger students look up to these peer teachers as role models and wish to emulate them. This is conducive to easier transfer of knowledge from advanced to average learners. This learner-initiated to learner-centric programme has increased the performance of both classes of learners substantially.
