NSS Women’s hostel is built for the safe and secure accommodation of girl students of NSS College Ottapalam. Now there are 54 inmates, including 2 teachers. Among these 30 of students (15 SC and 15 ST) claims for E grant. 7 PG students, 45 UG students and 4 staff are also present.

The establishment fee for inmates is 1700 (one thousand and seven hundred, fixed rate) rupees per month. The mess fees are divided among the inmates. During every month, a mess committee is formed among the inmates under the guidance of the warden and deputy warden. Mess committee members control the monthly activities and expenditure of the mess. The income and expenditure of each month is registered in the mess account book and the amount is being calculated by the Deputy Warden and the members of the mess committee. The amount is collected through the college office.
