Inauguration of Science club on 03-02-2020

The science club was formally inaugurated by Prof. Roy K.B.(Assistant Professor Department of Chemistry, SNGS College Pattambi) on 03.02.2020 at 10.30 am at the seminar hall. The programme started with the welcome address of Dr. Dhanya T P (Co-Ordinator Science club). Dr. Sajeev K. (Principal NSS college Ottapalam) presided over the function. Dr. Pramod Kumar (Assistant professor Dept Of Botany), Mr Muhammed Shafeeq (college union chair man ) delivered felicitation. Ms. Chitra (Secretary -Science club) gave vote of thanks.

Technical session was handled by Prof Roy K.B. on the topic“Role of Gender and Race in the Development of Science”

Students from all science department attended the lecture.

The science club was formally inaugurated by Dr. K. Vasudevan Pillai (Principal, Government Coaching Centre for Minority Youth, Palakkad )on 08-10-18 at 10 am at the seminar hall. The programme started with the welcome address of Dr. Dhanya T P (Co-Ordinator Science club). Dr. Balachandran S (Principal NSS college Ottapalam) presided over the function. Sri. I M Satheesan (Coordinator Bharathapuzha Rejuvenation Project, Palakkad), Prof Manju B.L (IQAC coordinator), Ms Vismaya M V(college union chairperson ) delivered felicitation. Mr. Sreenath chandramohan (Secretary -Science club ) gave a Vote of Thanks.

Lecture 2: ‘Problems and Perspectives Of Neera’ by Dr. R Sudhadevi (Associate Professor and Head, Department of Chemistry, MG College Thiruvananthapuram).

Extension activity :
Big Bang Science Expo 2k19 28/02/19

A Science exhibition was organized by the science club including all Science Departments of NSS College Ottapalam. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Balachandran S.(Principal, NSS College Ottapalam). Welcome address by Dr. Dhanya T.P.(Coordinator Science Club) felicitation by Prof.Manju B L(IQAC Coordinator) and Ms. Vismaya K.P.(College Union Chairperson) and vote of thanks by Mr Sreenath (Science Club Secretary).

Programme includes poster presentation, puzzles, experiment demonstration, models and power point presentation .Students from all departments and High school students from nearby school attended the exhibition.
