History of the Department :

Department of Physics was established in the year 1963, with one of the major subjects of study in pre-degree. B.Sc Physics Course started in the year 1963. Later, the M.Sc course was added to the list in the year 1999.

Courses :

1. 6 Semester B.Sc (Physics) with Mathematics and Computer Applications as Complementary.
2. 4 Semester M.Sc (Physics).

Both the courses are affiliated with University of Calicut.
